Despite the complexities, our team was able to <br />work with the contractor, the County, and other stakeholders to <br />foresee potential problems and adjust schedules and the order of <br />work to eliminate or mitigate them. The project limits <br />extend from the roads south of South Bend Avenue from Hill Street <br />to Francis Street, Madison Street being the furthest street south. <br />PROJECT ELEMENTS <br />The purpose of this project was for the sewer separation of a <br />combined sewer through the installation of new storm sewers. The <br />disturbed half of the street was repaired with new pavement while <br />the remainder of the street received a pavement overlay. New <br />curb, gutter, and sidewalks were also placed on the disturbed half <br />of the street. <br />In addition, over 1.5 miles of new storm sewer and over 150 new <br />structures, along with new water services and some new water <br />lines, were installed. <br />
