b. Prior to the beginning of the placement period, work with LEO to agree upon specific tasks, <br />within the larger scope of a LEO project or capacity -building activity, for the student to <br />complete during the summer. <br />i. This will include participating in at least one introductory planning call with LEO <br />prior to the beginning of the placement period. <br />c. Provide feedback on student's performance and experience, at the mid -point of the internship, <br />as well as at the conclusion of the internship. <br />d. Provide a designated place for the student to work at the partner agency's site, as well as <br />procure access to any agency resources (e.g. laptop, drive access, agency e-mail account, <br />database access, etc.) necessary for the student to fulfill their responsibilities. LEO will be <br />responsible for any costs associated with the procurement of resources for the student intern. <br />e. Incorporate student into a team in order to provide a supportive and collaborative learning <br />environment and the experience of being part of a team. <br />V. Funding of the Internship <br />LEO will provide all funding for the student's time and efforts during the placement period. The Partner <br />Agency will not be expected to provide any additional funding for the student's time or efforts. LEO will <br />work directly with the student to make arrangements related to payment. LEO will also provide funding <br />to procure any computing equipment, background checks, database access fees, software licenses or other <br />resources necessary for the student to fulfill their responsibilities. <br />VI. Length of Internship Placement <br />The placement period will last 10 weeks, unless LEO and the Partner Agency mutually agree to lengthen <br />or reduce the placement period LEO and the Partner Agency will work together to determine the exact <br />starting and ending dates for the internship.. The student will be allowed to adjust the end date of the <br />internship to accommodate up to a week of time away from the site for vacation or educational <br />opportunities, subject to approval b1 rtner Agency Supervisor and LEO. <br />$ 4*A rd o <br />Date <br />[Signature from LEO] Date <br />
