<br />Before the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend,,

<br />Remonstrance of Fred W. Keller,
<br />To Assessment roll.
<br />To the Beard of Public Works:
<br />The undersigned remonstrator Fred`W. Keller respectfully shows
<br />to the Board that he is the owner of the real estate hereinafter -described in the
<br />City of South Bend, in the State of Indiana, towit:-
<br />That said real estate has been assessed for the improvement known.
<br />a's the -Ewing Avenue Asphaltic concrete ppavement; from Michigan Street to Miami`.:
<br />Street, in said City under Improvement Resolution No. 836, of your Board adopted
<br />August 17th.9 1920; a description of which said lots and the -amounts of the
<br />assessments against said lets ar? as follows:
<br />Lot 274 in Bowman s 6th. Addition, owned by Fred W. Keller',
<br />pavement $315470, curb $2.32,.curb and gutter $42.37, grade $34.51. Total $394.92
<br />And said owner hereby remonstrates against the said assessments
<br />of said real estate for the said improvement on the followibg.grounds to -wit:
<br />1. That all of the amounts so�assessed aginst said lots or parcels
<br />of lots, are excessive;
<br />2. That said real estate is not benefited and will net be benefited
<br />by "s�dd improvement in the amounts against the same as above set out;
<br />3. That,satd real estate will net be benefited in any amount °
<br />in excess of the following:
<br />Said Lot 271 0200.00
<br />Wherefore the said owner remonstrates against said assessment
<br />in the amount stated and set forth in the assessment roll filed herein and asks
<br />that said real:estato and this re monstrater be relieved from the payment thereof
<br />in except of the amounts hereinhefore set out as the Gums by which said real esta
<br />estate will be payable.
