<br />We, the undersigned property owners, remonstrate a aimst the indirect `
<br />assessment of Michigan Street Trunk sewer, which is entirely oo high considerin
<br />the property affected. We paid a large indirect assessment on Bowman Creek Trung
<br />sewer on same property- therefore being assessed twice indirectly for same property
<br />is,entirely out of reason for benefits received.

<br />Deferred hearing hadon resolution for Widenen of Oakside Street and
<br />Woodside Str et from Michigan Street to Fellows Street under Condemnation Resolution
<br />Nos. 59 and• 60.
<br />In the above matter ppropperty owners appeared and objected to having
<br />a jm in streets t the StudebakerEAddition. Mr. Graves Asst. Engineer made a
<br />repot that he made a survey and that there will be no jog that he could see,_ no
<br />stakes to be seen in Studebaker new Addition on these streets. It was decided by
<br />the Board that this matter would be indifinitely postponed until the Studebaker
<br />Plat was recorded:
<br />Hearing had on resolution for Grade, curb and walk on Elmer.Street
<br />from Keller Street to the north line of Mayr's Michigan Street Addition, under
<br />Improvement Resolution No. 881. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the above matter remonstrators appeared but no written remon-
<br />strance was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that
<br />the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the
<br />estimated cost of the safie, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon
<br />takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted and the same is hereby
<br />in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />Resolved further that notices be published on the 17th, day of
<br />June 1921 and -on the 24th. day of June 1921 in the South Bend News Times, a
<br />newspaper or general circulation in'said City, statingg that this Board will receive
<br />bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday July 5th,,

<br />ratified, confirmed and ,approved. And ,the Board .now orders; that a list of roll be pre-,
<br />pared of all -owners or-ho ders of property and of valuable interests therein sougght
<br />to"be taken or to be in ur.iously affected , which lits or roll shall slso'describe
