} <br />EXCERPTS OF MINUTES OF A SPECIAL'MEETING <br />OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />HELD ON THE 5TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1966 <br />A meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission was <br />held at the office of the Commission at Suite 1001, 120 West <br />La .Salle Avenue in the City of South Bend, Indiana, on the 5th <br />day of October, 1966, at 3:00 o'clock P.M. (E.S.T.), being a <br />special meeting of said Commission and called pursuant to <br />wr tten notice personally delivered to all of the Commissioners <br />in accordance with the By -Laws of the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission. <br />The Commissioners were present or absent as follows: <br />Present Absent <br />r <br />The President of the Commission declared a quorum present. <br />(Among other proceedings had and <br />actions taken were the following:) <br />The Executive Secretary presented a petition signed by <br />more than fifty owners of taxable real estate located within the <br />..boundaries of the South Bend Redevelopment District requesting <br />the Commission to authorize and issue bonds in an amount not to <br />ex eed $680,000 to pay the cost of acquisition, clearance, <br />rehabilitation, site improvement, and renewal of property described <br />in Resolution No. 118, along with a verifying affidavit and as <br />certified by the County Auditor.
