RESOLUTION) NUMBER 149 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR <br />THE EXECUTION OF FIRST AMENDATORY CONTRACT <br />AMENDING CONTRACT NO. INDIANA R 29 (LG) BY <br />AND BETWEEN CITY Or SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT <br />OF REDEVELOPMENT AND THE UNITED STATES OF <br />AMERICA <br />E IT RESOLVED ]BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, <br />GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOP - <br />MENT, AS FOLLOWS: <br />£CTION 1. The pending proposed First Amendatory Contract <br />(here :n called the "Amendatory Contract ") amending that certain <br />,Contract No.-Ind.. R -29 (LG), dated the sixth day of September, <br />1963, by and between The City of South Bend, Department of Re- <br />devel pment (herein called the "Local Public Agency ") and the r <br />Unite States of America (herein called the "Government "), is hereby <br />in al respects approved. <br />ECTION 2. The President of the Commission is hereby authorized <br />and d rected to execute said Amendatory Contract in two counterparts <br />on be alf of the Local Public Agency, and the Secretary of the <br />Comml sion is hereby authorized and directed to impress and attest <br />the o ficial seal of the Local Public Agency on each such counterpart, <br />and to forward such counterparts to the Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development, for execution on behalf of the Government, to- <br />gether with such other documents relative to the approval and ex. <br />ecuti n of such counterparts as may be required by the Government. <br />ECTION 3.
