NEVER give anything by mouth to an <br />unconscious person. <br />SECTION 5 FIREFIGHTING MEASURES <br />5.1 Extinguishing Media <br />Suitable Extinguishing Media • Use large quantities of water. <br />Unsuitable Extinguishing • Do not use foam, day chemicals, carbon dioxide or halon. <br />Media <br />5.2 Special Hazards <br />Unusual Fire and Explosion • Extremely strong oxidizing agent. Keep away from heat. Do not allow <br />Hazards contact with acids, peroxides, combustible materials, organics or any <br />metals. May ignite wood and/or cloth <br />Special Fire Fighting • Apply excess water to any fire. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. <br />Procedures <br />Flash Point • None <br />NFPA Rating: Health- 3 Fire- 1 Reactivity- 1 <br />SECTION 6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES <br />6.1 Personal Precautions, Protective Equipment & Emergency Procedures <br />Personal Precaution • Use proper personal protection equipment at all times when handling <br />SE-2355-20. Remove all ignition sources in areas close to product. <br />Environmental Precaution • Do not allow product to enter sewer system, drains, surface water, or <br />well water. Notify proper state agencies immediately. <br />6.2 Methods and Material for Containment and Cleaning Up <br />Containment/Clean-up • Immediately try to contain or dike effected area. Use diatomaceous earth <br />or cover floor with dry absorbent product. DO NOT USE SAW DUST or <br />other incompatible materials. <br />Dilute solution to 5% with water. Reduce with a thiosulfate, bisulfite, or <br />iron salt. Neutralize solution using soda ash. Filter and decant solution. <br />Deposit sludge in approved landfill and according to all Federal State and <br />local regulations. <br />
