Hearing had on IMp-rovemmment Resolution No. 663 for grate, curb and <br />walk on St. Vincent Street from Hiles Avenue to E. Line of Harter Heights, in the <br />E 1ty Of South Beat, Indiana. <br />And the Beard ,being fully advised in the premises, decides that the <br />benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to <br />the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil -Engineer , and <br />thereupon rakes final. act ion sit said resolution as originally adopted, and the sane <br />Is hereby in all things, rat if ied, confirmed and approved. <br />Resolved further, that notices be published oa the 9th.0 day of <br />May 1919. and oh the 16th. , day of May 1919 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, <br />stating that this Board will receive bids Moro the construction oi, said improvoments <br />up to 10:00 A.M* on the 27th.0, day of May 1919. The Board reserves the right to <br />reject any and all bids. <br />Hearing given on resolution Ne.- 662 for the grade, curb and walk on <br />Stanfield Street from St. Vincent Street to Howard Street, in the City of South -Beni, <br />Indiana. <br />Upon said hear Ing no remonstrators appeared and as written rommton- <br />stranee was .filet. The Board reserves the right to <br />reject any and all bids. <br />Property,owners residing on South Michigan Street from Ewing Avenue <br />South appeared before the Board and presented petitions for tiu x an inlet at Bowman <br />Creek and Michigan Street and Ewing Avenue, also requested bhe Beard to have South <br />Michigan Street gutters repaired and el*euedvAwt. stet have Michigan Street oiled. <br />This matter was referred to the Street Comm+ss iexer for a report. <br />The Board awarded the following coatracts: - <br />Sewer connections on Linden Avenue to Bruno De Paope. <br />1 <br />Sewer a mnnect ions on Walnut Street from Division Street to Sample <br />Street awarded to Bruno De Paepe. <br />W. W. Sibley appeared before the Board and filed objections to the <br />Board allowing contracts for water c maestione to Staples and Ackerman. <br />Water connections on Sample Street from Walnut Street to Olive <br />Street awarded to Walter J.
