MICHELS CORPORATION - STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />ALARIS Injury Care Line is a 24/7 injury care hotline staffed by full-time Registered Nurses, who <br />are able to provide consultation and guidance for work -related injuries and general medical <br />guidance for our employees and their families. Contacting ALARIS is MANDATORY for any <br />work related injury and personal calls can be made on a discretionary basis. The ALARIS <br />representative will guide them on to obtain proper medical attention and help identify an <br />appropriate in -network care provider in the employee's geographical area. <br />In addition to providing our employees and their families with a unique and convenient benefit, <br />the ALARIS Injury Care Line helps improve and streamline our claims management process <br />and ensure that our employees have round-the-clock access to medical and emergency <br />guidance regardless of where their jobsite is located. <br />For any questions regarding the ALARIS Injury Care Line, please contact Alissa DeWar, <br />Director of Risk Management, at 920.924.4300 x2397 oradewarffrnichels.us. <br />6.2.6 Additional Safety Resources <br />Michels provides a variety of diverse resources to supplement our Health and Safety Program <br />and promote job site safety to minimize work related injuries. Examples include: <br />• Annual Training (OSHA 10, 30 hour) <br />• Mandatory Site Safety Orientations <br />• Michels Digital Toolboxes <br />o Digitally recorded safety topics and materials to be played each morning as a <br />catalyst for safety discussions at daily tailgate meetings <br />• Empowerment Safety Newsletter <br />• Short Service Employee Program ("Green Hands Program") <br />o Ensures all short service employees (less than six months experience) are <br />identified and appropriately supervised, trained and mentored to prevent <br />accidents <br />6.2.7 Commitment to Continuous Improvement <br />In keeping with our philosophy that safety is a "Journey to Zero" incidents, Michels has designed <br />31 <br />
