a. The job mix formula shall be based upon the Marshall Method of Mix Design for the <br />aggregate source and gradation available in ample quantity to the Contractor. Any <br />change of aggregate source shall require a new Mix Design and approval. <br />b. Recycled materials shall not be used in any surface course mixtures. No RAS shall be <br />used. <br />c. Binder course materials will have a maximum of 20% Recycled Materials. No RAS <br />shall be used. <br />d. Base course materials will have a maximum of 20% Recycled Materials. No RAS shall <br />be used. <br />3. All HMA mixes are normally picked up by the City. Under certain circumstances, the City <br />may request delivery of HMA mixes. The City will assign through successful bidding <br />process tri-axle trucks with drivers to deliver the HMA mixes as designated to any point in <br />the City. The City will hire the truck with driver for a minimum of eight (8) hours per day. <br />There will be no premium time paid for work in excess of eight (8) hours per day. <br />4. All mixes designated with "11L" shall be #11 crushed limestone. <br />5. All mixes designated with "11S" shall be #11 crushed blast furnace slag. <br />i���.
