taxes Ilevied under the provisions of this act. No part of the <br />funds4dvanced by the city or town shall be used in the acquisi- <br />tion of real estate. <br />All gifts, donations, proceeds of sales, or payments <br />whatsoever which are given or paid to the Department of Redevelop- <br />ment or to the city or town for redevelopment purposes shall <br />belongs to the "Redevelopment District Fund" to be used by the <br />commissioners for the purposes of this act. All such funds shall <br />be promptly turned over to the treasurer of the city or town, <br />who shall deposit the same to the credit of the Redevelopment <br />District Fund. On or before the tenth day of each calendar <br />month Ithe treasurer shall notify the commissioners and the <br />officer or officers of the city or town charged by law for the <br />performance of duties in respect to the funds and accounts of <br />the cilty or town of the amount standing to the credit of said <br />fund alt the close of business on the last day of the preceding <br />month.1 All payments from said fund shall be made by warrants <br />drawn �y such officer or officers upon vouchers of the commis- <br />sionerls signed by the president or vice president, and the <br />secretary or executive secretary of said commissioners. All <br />money emaining in the fund at the end of the calendar year <br />shall continue to belong to such fund for use as provided in the <br />Cities) and Towns Act of 1953. <br />ARTICLE III - MEETINGS <br />Section <br />1. <br />Annual Meeting. <br />The annual meeting <br />of the <br />Commission <br />shall <br />be held on the <br />2nd day of January at <br />10:00 A.M. <br />-5- <br />
