"ATTACHMENT A" <br />RESOLUTION NO. 635 <br />The following modifications are made to the Monroe - Sample Development Plan: <br />1. Page 3, III. A. - Commercial is to read as follows: <br />Commercial: Two sub -areas are identified for commercial <br />development. They are located along Michigan and Monroe <br />Streets. <br />2. Page 5, III. C. - Transportation is to read as follows: <br />C. Transportation <br />In order to reinforce the integrity of the individual <br />sub - areas, certain changes in street patterns are pro- <br />posed (Map 2). <br />1. Fellows Street is to be closed at the intersection <br />with Monroe Street to eliminate hazardous turning <br />movements, discourage through- traffic, and encourage <br />a residential environment. <br />2. Bronson Street from Columbia to Lincolnway is to be <br />widened to permit truck access to the industrial <br />sub -area. The intersection of Bronson and Lincoln - <br />way will be realigned and a traffic light installed. <br />3. Rush Street is to be vacated from Bronson Street south <br />approximately 400 feet and a new east -west street is <br />to be constructed at that point between Fellows and <br />Rush. <br />4. The turning radii will be improved at the northeast <br />corner of Columbia and Bronson Streets and the south- <br />west corner of Fellows and Bronson Streets. <br />5. George Avenue will be vacated. <br />6. Clinton Street from Bronson Street to Frontage Street <br />will be vacated. <br />7. Various alleys in the area south of Bronson, as shown <br />on Map 2, are to be vacated. <br />
