! - ;• �s 8401023 (2) Resolution No. 648 adopted on November 24, 1981 and confi by Resolution No. 651 adopted on February 5, 1982; and WHEREAS, the Commissioners did, on June 27, 1983, adopt CUW Declaratory Resolution No. 682, redeclaring, among other things, the Monroe - Sample Development Area to be blighted and amending the Development Plan by adding a parcel to the acquisition list and making certain changes to fulfill the purpose of the Design Review Committee; and WHEREAS, as required by law, the St. Joseph County Area Plan Commission and the South Bend Common Council have considered and approved said Resolution No. 682 and the Development Plan, and, subsequently the Commissioners did, on August 26, 1983, hold a public hearing for the purpose of presenting said Resolution No. 682 and to hear and consider remonstrances concerning said resolution;and WHEREAS, said Redevelopment of Cities and Towns Act of 1953, as amended, requires that the Commissioners, after such hearing and consideration, shall take final action determining the public utility and benefit of the project, either confirming, modifying, or rescinding Resolution No. 682. WHEREAS, the Commmissioners desire to confirm said Resolution No. 682 without modification. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment that it will public utility and benefit to proceed with the plan of redevelopment as set forth in Resolution No. 682 referred to the WHEREAS clauses above, and that said Resolution No. 682 hereby approved, ratified and confirmed.
