Now. on last named date the Board designated ' Aspha l,t is concrete as th6 kind of pavement with which .said. street is to be unproved and fixes the 19th.`,day -of April 1919 at 10 : 0.0 A.M. as the time' when petit ions .for changing. the kind of pavement must be f il.ed', and the Board hereby continues' this matter until the 19th. day of April 1919 At 10:.00 A.M. 'Goncerning the improvement ofthe- roadway of Wenger Street and Narroll Street -from High Street to Paris Street in pursuance to resolution No.- 588 the -Board finds that no petition has been filed with said Board by a majority in number of the free holders res id ing on* said street to be improved requesting that it be improv%. q with a different kind of pavement than the kind heretofore adopted by the Board in its preliminary order; and the City Engineer reports that Williston Construction Company is the lowest and best bidder for the` kind of pavement heretofore adopted by the Board, and the Board find that said Williston Construction Company is -the lowest and best bidder and hereby► lets the contract, for said improvement to him,' and orders that said -improvement be`made with asphaltic concrete using Standard Mexican Asphalt and all proceedings heretofore had in this matter are hereby confirmed and sat if ied. Concerning the.improvement of the roadway of Elder Street and Carroll Street from Michigan Street to Wenger Street in pursuance to resolution No. 612, the Board f Inds that no pet it ion has been filed with said Board by a majority in number of the freeholders res id ing on said street to be improved re- questing that it be improved with a different kind of pavement, than the kind heretofore adopted by the Board in its preliminary order. and the City Engineer reports that Western Construction Company is the best bidder for the kind of pavement heretofore adopted by the Board, and the Hoard find that said Western Construction. Company is the lowest and best bidder and hereby lets the contract for said ,improvement to him, and orders that said improvement be made with Asphaltic concrete using Trinidad Natural Lake Asphalt and all proceedings here-' tofore had in this matter are hereby confirmed and ratified.
