<br />is3 further ordered'that all such private connections with the sewer+, gas and water,
<br />mains be ,mada'An said sereet by bringing these` inside the curb :lines thereof.

<br />pr tutted and= pablUhed =in ' the City of South Bend, Indiana, be given tothe owners.

<br />connections are not Made on or before said time and In accordance with the psect-
<br />ficatione and .report on 'file in the offiee.of the Board of Public. `Works, then said

<br />thereto according to- the provisions and requirements of Ordinance No.., 1842 adopted

<br />ordinances and laws relating thereto.
<br />And be it; further resolved and ordered that after the 20 day period
<br />'has elapsed for- the making of said connections by the property owners, s notice
<br />shad be published for two weeks, once eaph week, in the South Bend Tribune,'
<br />a newspaper of general ciraiislation pflblished in said Ctt, . reQudsting bids from
<br />oniractors for the snaking of such ennectione as have not been made by the property
<br />owners,. and -such notle'eYshall fix a day, not earlier than ten days after :the first
<br />.of such publication, when bids shall be opened and a contract let for the doing of
<br />said work. -
<br />And ° be It further ordered that the I Northern Insi ana Gas & Electric
<br />Company, which holds a franchise From, and is empowered by said City 6 furnish
<br />artificial gas to the citizens thereof, and is engaged in said business in said City,
<br />is hereby directed to. -make and install all services connection's with its mains,
<br />in said street ,inaccordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1555., :adopted
<br />June 27,1910., and sucbi .other ordinances or laws applicable thereto; which
<br />connections .are shown upon the report of the City Civil Engineer, and *h-Uh are
<br />hereby dUlared to be necessary in sgpplying gas tothe owners of property ptting
<br />upon said -street, -
