<br />Be It Res olv-ed by the ` Board of Pub l ie Works of the City of South Bend,
<br />SV., Joseph Comity, State of In,.iana, that it .is desired and deelied necessary to im-
<br />prove Marine Street from Indiana Avenue to Calvert Street as follows, -to -wit: -
<br />Said street shall be graded and the roadway thereof shall be pa ved,
<br />also the roadway of certain protions of the streets and alleys which enter or interest
<br />said street shall be graded and paved. The paving material to be used in maKing
<br />said improvement shall be Portland cement Concrete, Sheet Asphalt, Bitulithic,
<br />Asphaltic concrete or Brick and the foundation shall be partland cement concrete
<br />five (5) inches thick for the sheet asphalt, bitulithic, asphaltic concrete and brick.,
<br />or rolled #baavel sis (6) inches thick for the brick; also cement curb shall be con-
<br />structed along aid street.where same is not already constructed, storm waster inlets,
<br />and conduits shall be constructed where necessary, all manhole tops and storm water
<br />inlets shall be set to the proper grade; cement marginal curb shall be constructed
<br />at all street and alley intersections where necessary, all as Is more particularly
<br />shown and all in accordance with the plans, profiles, detail drawings and specifications
<br />on file in the office of the Department of Public Works of the City of South'Bend,
<br />Ind Iana.
