Gentlemen: - We .herewith enc lose -you a petition for the pavement of the first alley north Of Orange Street running from College Street to Jackson Streetm including four feet -of private property running along the north side of the alley the entire 1 ength,. This allearyruns along the south side of our warehouse the full lagth as you;, no doubt, know that our warehouse runs through from College to Jackson This alley is in a, bad condition and at times it is almost impossible for .use to get through with our tru ek, and therefore we hop; you will consider this improve- ment and proceed with same as soon as possible. Report PromdCouncil'that there has been a complaint about the bad con- dition of East Colfax Avenue east of Woolen Cospany Mills. Needs attention, Eddy Street north of Colfax Avenue, Notre Dam* Avenue . 'Street Commissioner reported as follows: - It will be possible to better the condition 69 E, Colfax Avenue brick pavement in the early spring,- North Eddy Street and Notre Dame Streets are beyond repair by the Street Department.
