C ont inued. ° Hear°ing° had. on rmpr ovement Res olut ion No. 587. f or -pavement on Bartlett Street from Michigan Street to Lafayette Blvd. in the City of South Bend, Ind Tana._ Upon said hearing no remonstrator's appeared and no written remonstrances were filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the bene- fits to property .ligble to be assessed for adid improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes f in*l action on said resolution as or ig inally adopted, and the same ',is hereby in all things, rat if Ted, c onf irmed and approved. Resolved further, that notices be published on the 24th.,day of February 1919 and on the 3rd.,, day of March 1919 in the South Bend Daily Tribune in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to 10: QO A.M. on the llth., day of March 1919. The, Board reserves. the right to reject any and all b ids . Hearing had on resolut ion' for pavement improvement on Fellows Street from Monroe Street to Div is ion Street and from Sample Street to Dubail Avenue, under ,Improvement Res olut ion No...591. In the City of South .Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance was filed. The Board after hearing the interested property owners present, decided to defer action on said resolution until Wednesday February 26th. ,1919 at 7 : 15 P. M.- The wr itten remonstrance was refrred to the City Civil Engineer to be checked with property list. Hearing had on resolution No. 590 for pavement improvement on Califonnia Avenue from Portage Avenue to Blaine Avenue, in the City of South Bend, Ind iana . Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance filed February 4th.,1919 against this improvement by resident propety owners, and there. being a number less than the majority of the resident free4molders who have signed the remonstrance the Board now over -rule said written remonstrances filed February 4th. ,.1919. February 1919 and -an the Ord.,4AW zf March 1919 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will rece ive8 .bids, -_for the construction of said improvements tip to 10:00 A.M.- on the 25th., day of March 1919 The Board reserves theratAht to reject any and ail• b ids. ° Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No.599 for Concrete Pavement on South Bend Avenue from Eddy Street to East City Limits, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter property owners residing on the Street and owning property on street appeared and remonstranced against the putting do of a twelve (121) foot pavement -and requested that the Board put in a modern pavement the full width of roadway. And an 80% petition signed by 80% per cent of the property owners on South Bend Avenue from Eddy Street to Easterly City Limits was filed with the Board. The Board after due consideration decided and hereby ordered that resolution No. 599 fat Ooncrete pavement on 12 foot strip should be and is hereby rescinded and a re lu-t on wad ordered prepared on South Bend Avenge from Eddy Street to Easterly City-L%iti; on a full roadway and modern type of pavement.
