<br />Miami Street from north 1 ineof Ewing Avenue to ,the south . C ity - Limits, in the City of
<br />South Bend, Indiana,:
<br />Upon said hearing.no remonstrators appeared and no written remon-
<br />strance' was filed.'
<br />And the Board being fully advised in the 9preaftes, decides
<br />that the benefits toproperty liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal
<br />to .the estimated -cost of the same, as reported. by the City Civil Engineer, and
<br />thereppon takes final action on said resolution As originally adopted, and the
<br />same is hereby, in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />Resolved further, that notices be published on the 24th. day of
<br />February 1919 and_on the 3rd., day of March 1919 in a newspaper df General air-
<br />culat ion in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construc-
<br />tion of said improvoments up to 10: 00 A.M. on the 18th. , day of March 1919 The
<br />Board reserves the eights to reject any and all bids..
<br />Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No,. 589 for pavement on Allen
<br />Street from Van Buren Street to Portage Avenue, in the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared and a written remon-
<br />strance was filed, there being a n6mber less than the majority of the resident
<br />free -holders who have signed the remonstrance, the Board now -over-rules said
<br />written remonstrance filed this 19th. , day of February 1919. Rh& the Board being
<br />fully advised in the. premisesf decides that the benefits to property liable to be
<br />assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as
<br />rrted by the City Civil Engineer,' and thereupon takes final abt ion on said
<br />resolution sndonodified, same ,-b3�-`eliminating conbinat curb and`gutter,present,curb
<br />to; -be left , in, and,,,`the, same is hereby in all things ratifidd, confirmed and approved.

<br />Hearing given on improvement Resolution No. 588. for pavement on
<br />Wenger Street from High Street ti Carroll Street and Carroll Street from the north
<br />line of Wenger Street to the south line of Paris Street, under Improvement
<br />Resolution No. 588. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remon-
<br />strance filed. Property owners appeared and requested that present curb be
<br />left in and combination curb and gutter be eliminated.. And the Board be ing fully
<br />advised in the premises , decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed
<br />for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the
<br />City giv it Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution modifying
<br />the same as follows:- Combination curb and gutter to be eliminated, -present curb
<br />to be left in, and the same it hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />Resolved further, that notices be published on the 24th. , day of
<br />February 1919 and on the 317d. day of March 1919 in the South Bend Daily Tribune,
<br />stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements
