July 9, 2012 Zoning and Annexation Committee <br />Page 2 <br />Following discussion, Dr. Varner made a motion, seconded by Council Member Gavin Ferlic, that <br />Bill No. 12 -12 as proposed to be amended with the inclusion of Exhibit A setting forth the written <br />commitments be recommended favorably to Council. The motion passed. <br />Under miscellaneous business, Council Member Henry Davis, Jr. voiced concern over the rezonings <br />which took place city -wide back in 2004 which has resulted in additional hoops for developers to go <br />through. <br />Christa Nayder noted that there was a city -wide rezoning completed in 2004 which was initiated by <br />the Area Plan staff.
