Board met in,regular hearing at 7:15 P.M. All 'members present. <br />City Attorney T. W. Slick and City Engineer present. <br />Hearing had on assessment Poll and final estimate on Trunk Sewer <br />System on High Street and Ewing Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No.. 503 adopted <br />on the 28th.9 day of March 1917. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />a <br />In the abovemat.ter remonstrators appeared -and x written remonstrances <br />were filed. { Property owners -appearing were J. M. Chillas of the Studebaker_ Heirs, <br />and Biller Guy representing property -owners.) The Board after due consideration <br />decided to.defer this he_aring.until Wednesday October 9th.,1918. at 7:15 P.M. <br />The following written remonstrances were filed in regard to the <br />above sower asssments. Read and placdd on file. <br />South Bend, Indiana Oct. 2,1918. <br />To the Honorable'Board of Woikss- <br />We, the undersigned, property owners assessed for the construction of <br />the High St and Ewing Avenue Trunk sewer system, do hereby object to the acceptance <br />of said work until completed.
