Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. All members present. <br />The following resolution was approved by the Board. <br />R E S O L U T I O N <br />?WHEREAS, One August J. Raabe did purchase from the City of South. <br />Bend, Indiana _for the consideration of $19, 70 the following described property: - <br />South half (�) of lot 32 Range One West Block 4 in the City Cemetery <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />WHEREAS.. said August J. Raabe sole owner of the above described <br />property having boat the deed for said lot now, <br />THEREFORE, <br />Be Ii Resolved, by the Board of Public Yorks of the said City, that <br />the Mayor of said City be and is hereby instructed to issue a duplicate deed to said <br />August J. Raa,be for said described property. <br />G. A. ELLIOTT <br />H. F. ROSTISER <br />JOHN F. DEHAVEN <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC 11ORKS. <br />Attested:- <br />Veronica C. Sweeney , <br />Clerk of Board. <br />Dated this 17th.9 day of September .1918. . <br />The Board ordered that tkz a new stove be purchased to heat <br />Police garage, and the old stove now in garage be sold for the sum of Five Dollars. <br />The Board discussed the matter of outstanding accounts in the <br />City Cemetery with the Cemetery Sexton. Mr. Geo. M. Urey, Sexton instructed by the <br />Board to make as mamy collections as possible by the 1st. of January 1919. <br />Mr. L. Frash of Napoleon Blvd. appeared before the Board in regard <br />to lights already installed in Napoleon Blvd.be lighted. The Clerk instructed <br />to take this matter up with Mr. Kennedy of the Indiana ' Michigan Electric Company <br />andsi&_if those lights could be turned nnj if so, to order three turned on. <br />Complaints were received on the following defective sidewalks <br />and the Board ordered that a thirty day notice be sent to the property owMrs to <br />repair same or'construete new walk. <br />Defective walk in: front of Oliver Theatre North Ua in Street.. <br />No s idewa l:k on 80 feet off of lot 55 Oak Park 1st. Add it ion -at . <br />Northwest corner of High Street and Dubadl Avenue. <br />Defective sidewalk in front of 419 South Michigan Street. <br />City Contractor to be notified to connect up all sidewalk exten- <br />sions at northwest corner of Napier Street and McPherson Street, also southwest cor. <br />Connect up all extensions with cement walk on corner of Studebaker Street and <br />Avenue, where brick walks are now. <br />Petition for light filed June 8th. ,1918 considered by the Board <br />and the Clerk instructed to notify the Indiana & Michigan Elea. Company to place <br />are lamp at Johnson Street and Rupel Street, <br />
