Same granted until September 5th.01918. <br />The Bayard instructed clerk to notify plumbers to submit bids for the <br />following work in the City Hall. <br />To place one coil in Hallway of the Detective department. <br />One coil in deteettse off ice. <br />Three coils in police squad room together with all pipes .in same and in <br />poli-ce garage wrapped with asbestos rapping Chas. Johnson, janitor to have supervision, <br />over all plumbing work and to o. k-. all bills. <br />The following contract was approved by the Board <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT CONTRACT, <br />This Agrement _ Made and entered into this 23rd. day of August <br />1918 by and between Bruno De Peape of the County of St. Joseph, and State of Indiana* <br />(hereinafter referred to as the " Contractor"), and the City of South Bend, in the County <br />of St. Joseph, and State of Indiana,, by and through its...Board of Public Works, (herein- <br />after reff'rred to as the " City"), under and by virtue of an Act of the General Assembly <br />of the Stat of Indiana, entitled " An Act Concerning Municipal Corporations," approved <br />March 6,1905, and all amendatory and supplement& 1 act thereto:- <br />Witnesseth, that the contractor covenants and agrees to Repair <br />pipe sewer on East Ls Salle Avenue from the alley east of Vt.
