Concerning the improvement of the roadway of Portage Avenue from lat. alley north of Kinyon Street to the north City Limits, with Sheet Asphalt, Wooden Block,' Brick - , Bitulithic, Asphaltic Concrete or concrete, in pursuance to resolutiion No. 579, this being the day for receiving and opening bids, the Board at 10:00 A.M. #*clock publicly opened, read and considered all bids. And thereupon the Board designated Sheet Asphalt as the kind of pavement with which said street is to be improved and fixes the 4th.1, day of September 1918 as the time when petitions must be filed, and the Board hereby eon t inues this matter until the 4th.', day of September 1918 at 10- 00 A.M. and all bids are hereby referred to the City Engineer for tabulation and report as to the lowest and best bid. Joseph River to conform to report of appraisers heretofore filed.
