Ares*mead° by: F. M. Jackson <br />for the Board's` e�pproval at this session was ordered returned by the Board, as <br />they did not .care .to approve, or file said deed at this time. Clerk instructed to <br />notif.t F. N. Jabkson by letter. <br />Clerk instructed to notifyStaples & Ackerman, Contractors'on the <br />Portage Avenue'Pipe sewer,_tp be present at thsar regular session to be held Tuesday <br />February 26th.'1918 at 10:00-A.U. , <br />douncilman Judson appeared before the Board And presented petition <br />signed by residents of River Park requesting that a suitable sidewalt extending from <br />Lincoln Way, -East on Frnsperger Street running north.to Pleasant Street be built. <br />The Board ordered a resolution prepared for same. <br />v .The following list of wages paid in the street department for labor <br />was prose-n-ted.to the Board by D. C. Layton, Street Commissioner and approved by the <br />Board. <br />To Hon. LAYTON. <br />The: foil®wing notice was ordered publislied for lumber for the Street <br />DepartmaInt for the. year 1918. <br />Wanted: <br />Thirty Thousand feet of -white Oak Lumber. <br />The Board of Public Works of the Cityof South Bend, will receive <br />bids for the following bill of white' oak lumber to be delivered at such Places in the <br />City of South Bend, as the Street Commissioner may des ignate - <br />Three thousand feet" (3000) White Oak 2" X1O" -or 12" X 14 ft. <br />Twelve thousand feet((12000) White Oak 2" X1O" or 12" Xl2ft. <br />Seven, 1housgand rive hundred (7,500 White Oak -2" X 10" orl2" loft. <br />Three'thousand (3000) feet white oak ;2" X10" X l0 ft. <br />One thousand five hundred (1, 500) white oak 2~ X8" XIOft. <br />Three thousand (�OOO) feet white oak 2x 4" X 4" X6-9-12ft. <br />And is much more as may be needed for street work. <br />Said lumber to: -.be sounds s free from rot, wain* and unsound knots. <br />Sealed bids will be received up to 10:90 A. k. on the 12th. day_, of <br />March 1918.
