16 THP CITY .CIVIL ENGINEER submitted the list of property owners in the natter of the appropr iat ion of c erta,in property under 0ondemnat ion R'earolut in No. 49 for the Widening of Uiami Street from Ewing Avenue to City Limits, as per Resolution on page No. of record.No. 6. Whichoust includes the names of the owners and holders.of property and of,interests therein sought to be taken or bene fically or Worlously affected, and the description of the severe'l pieces of pro- perty which is affected by its said appropriation proc= edings. THEREUPON the Board proceeded to award the damages sxt sustained and to assess the benefices accruing to each piece'of property upon said list, It was thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconded and unenimoi* adopted;°resolved that said list, together with the amounts of benefits and damages and net benefits and net .damages therein set for:th�ps..to the several parcels of lad be adopted and that the respective amount of benefits contained in said Fist be and are hereby assessed against the several tracts of land as specifically set forth in said list and that the respective amounts of damages contained in the said list be and are hereby awarded to the several tracts of land as specifically set forth in said list, and that the het benefits or net damages, as the case may be as to the respective tracts of land, contained in said list are hereby awarded or assessed as the ease maybe as. -to the said several tracts of land. The Board hereby further sets off the benefits and damages ;each against the other where both benefits and damages are assessed, against the same piece pf lgroperty,tract of land or interest, and hereby fixes .said respective net benefits as the amount that shall be paid by the respective owners as benefits ,and further hereby fixes the respective net damages as to the several tracts at the amount that shall be paid.to`the owners of the respective tracts as damages. -Theroupon, 'upon motion duly made and seconded and unanimously adopted the `. E1bveAth. d day of :December 1915 at 7:45 P.M. was fixed as the day on which this Board aril-1 receive or hear remonstrances from persons with regard to the amount of their respective awards or assessments, and the Clerk of this Board was instructed to prepare and cause to be dulyandlegally #iven, notices to the owners of eahh pared, of property, showing -the amount of the assessments ar award', with the desor.iptl�on of the property affected; and the da$re of said hearing. The following bond and contracts were approved by the Board. PUBLIC IMPROVEMT CONTRACT. THIS AGREEUENT, Made ° and ea-tered_, into this 15th. day of i/ November 1917, by and between Staples & Hdkdeiaan df the County of St. Joseph and State of Indiana ( hereinafter referred to as the " Contractor# and the City of South.Bond, in the County of St. Joseph, and State of Indiana, by and through its Board of Public Works, (hereinafter referred to as the " City,) under and by virtue of an Act of the Generol.
