South Bend Central Development Area <br />(2) continued... <br />• South of that point, there is excess <br />right -of -way that could be <br />incorporated into the larger <br />development site. <br />• The scope of services for the proposal <br />includes: preparation of the two legal <br />descriptions and preparation of the <br />right -of -way vacation application. <br />The fee for these services is $3,150. Staff <br />requests approval. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by <br />Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted the proposal from <br />Abonmarche for the scope of services and fee <br />proposed. <br />Ms. Jones inquired whether this would <br />seriously impact the development site. Mr. <br />Relos noted that it is all being coordinated <br />with Mr. David Matthews. <br />B. Airport Economic Development Area <br />(1) Engagement letter from Plews Shadley <br />Racher & Braun for legal services related <br />to the Union Station Technology Center. <br />Mr. Inks noted that as a part of the agreement <br />with Union Station Properties for <br />development of the Renaissance District, the <br />city agreed to take care of environmental <br />issues related to the Ivy Tower Building. <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />ABONMARCHE FOR THE SCOPE OF SERVICES AND <br />FEE PROPOSED <br />
