Board met in regular session at 7:45 P.U. All members present. Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 543 for the pavement on Dublil Avenue from Michigan Street to Miami Street, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance was filed. The Board after due consideration decided to defer safd decision until Tuesday July 31st.,1917 at 7:45 P.M. Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 536 for Grading and curbing Portage Avenue from Keller Street to north City Limits, in the City .of South Bend, ✓ Indiana. Uon said hearing nb remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the bene- fits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements, are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is --hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. _ Resolved further, that notices be published on the 26th. day of July 1917 and on the 2nd-. day oi' August 1917 in a newspaper of general circulation in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids fdr the construction of said improvements, up to 10:00 A.M. on the 7th. day of August 1917. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No.547 for pipe sewer on Pleasant ✓Street from Ninth Street to Eighth Street, in the City of South Bend, Indiana, Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed. And the Board being flly advised in the premmses, decides that the bene- fits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same`•is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Reolved further, that notices be published on the 26th. day of July, 1917 and on the 2nd. day of August 1917 in a newspaper of general circulation of in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement tp to 10:00 A.M. on the 7th. day of August 1917. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the bene- fits to property liBle to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereuon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupom takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
