Tuesday July 17th..1917. C ont inued. Board met in regular session at 7:45 P.M. All members present. Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 537 for the Pipe sewer on Dunn -Street from Chapin Street to Scott Street, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. Updn said hearing remonstrators appeared but no wr itten remonstrance was filed. And the Boardbb ing fully advisedin the premises, decides than the benefits to property liable to be assessed for Said improvements are equal to' the estimated cost of the same, ae' reported by the City C idil Eng ineer, ' and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all things rat.if ied, c onf irmed and approved. Resolved further, that notices be published on the 20th. day of July 1917 a-nd on the 27th. day of July 1917 in a newspaper ofgeneral circulation in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improve- ments up to 10:00 A.M. on the 31st. day of July 1917. The Board reserves the right to reject any a$d all bids. Hearing had on. improvement Resolution No. 538. for pipe sewer on Chestnut Street from Napier Street to Lake Shore & Michigan Central Ry. Company in .the C ityof South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared but no written remonstrances was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for aid improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon• takes fa inl action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same, is hereby in all things ratified, c onf irmed and approved. Resolved further, that notices be published on the 20th. day of July 1917 and on the 27th. day of July 1917 in a newspaper o$ general circulation in said City, stating tLhat this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improve-, meet up to 10:00 A.M. on the 31st. day of July 1917. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Hearing had on improvement Resolution No. 542 for pipe sewer on Howard Street from Notre Dmme Avenue to point 15 feet east of the east line of St. Louis Street, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared but no written remonstrance was filed. And the Board be ing, fully advised in the preaftes, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of -the -same, as reports by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on sa id ' res olut ion as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all things ratified, c onf irmed and approved. Resolved further, that notices.be published on the 20th. day of July 1917 and on the 27th, day of July 1917 in a newspaper of general circulation in said City, , stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to 10:00 AiU. on the 31st. day of July 1917. Hearing had on assessment roll and final estimate for water connections on Franklin Street from Indiana Avenue to Calvert Street, under Improvement ResolutIon No. 511. In• the City of South Bend, Ind Iana. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed. The Board therefre find that the property assessed in said Polls filed June 26th.,1917 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the assessment rolls filed June 26th.,1917 and the final estimate allowed June 26th.,1917 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Hearing had on assessment roll and final estimate for sewer connections on Corby Street from Niles Avenue to St: Louis Boulevard, under Improvement Resolution No. 498. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and nowrttten remonstrance was filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed June 26th.,1917 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls and the Board furthe-p find that the assessment rolled filed June 26th.,1917 and the final estimate allowed June �6th. ,1917 should be and the 'same is hereby in all things ratified confirmed and approved. `
