TEBER <br />Its Board of Public Works. <br />CONSTRUCTION BONDS. <br />Know all men by these presents, that we the Western Construction Company <br />of the Counny off'° ut: ' Joseph; Bthte' of Indiana, as princial and the AETNA <br />CASUALTY AND` StRETYCMANY OP' THE'' County of knd State of <br />as sureties,: ajP° held` and. firiilk houiiii- to' the' CitY of South Bend, Indiana in the <br />sum of Three Thousand*Hiuiared. Hundred and eight Dollars f $�,20b,00) for the pay- <br />ment of which, •well° and- truly• to°be-made , we° jointly and severally bind ourselves <br />our heirs, ejceeutors, ° administrators, and. assigns , firmly by these presents. <br />The' conaltion.s� of° theobligations are such that if the° above named. The <br />Western Constuction Company shall faithfully co mply with the foregoing contract, <br />made and entered' into' the12th.' day° bf' Jiiljr' 1917° VLth' thL-' City` of South Bend, <br />Indiana, and shall fulfill all the c and it ions and stipulations therein contained, <br />according to the true intent and meaning thereof, in all respects , then this <br />obligations to be void, otherwiaw to be and remain in full force and virtue of the <br />law. In the event the said City shall extend the time forthe completion of said <br />work, such extension shall not in anyway release the sureties on this bond. <br />This shall be a cons-.dnetion bond, and the sureties on the same shall not <br />be held responsible for the maintenance and repair of the improvement after it <br />h4s been accepted by. the second party, but such sureties shall be held responsible <br />for the faithful compliance with all other conditions, stipulations and require- <br />ments covered by or set out in the contract. <br />Witness our hands and seals this 12th. day of July 1917. <br />THE AETNA CASUALTY AND SURETY COMPANY THE WESTERN CONSTRUCTION COMPAi�Y <br />BY WILLIAM E.
