Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 534 for grade, curb and walk on Seventeenth Street from Mishawaka Avenue to Grand Trunk Western Ry. Co. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said gearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance -was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the preaftes, decides that the benefits to the property liable to be asseseed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cos t of the same., as reported by the City. Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted,, and the saw is hereby in all things 'ratified, confirmed and approved. Resolved further, that notices be published on the 5th. day of July 1917 e,nd .on the 12th. day of 'July 1917 in a news ape of general circulation in said City, stating that this Board will received bids for the construction of said improvements up to 10:00 A.M. on the 17th. day of July 1917. The Board reserves the right to rejet any and all bids. Upon said hearing.no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed. And the Board being fully advised in tho premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same. as reported by the City Civil Engineer,, -and there- upon takes,final action on sd3d resolution as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all things ratified, coiffirmed and approved. Dear Sir :- The Board of Public Works at its Tuesday session decided to accept your verbal proposition to repair and patch the pavement on Jefferson Blvd. from the east end of Jefferson Street Bridge to the intersection of Lincoln Way East for the sum of Two hundred ($200.00)Dollars, providing that the work is done within Ten'(10) days,provided further, that you guaranty the same to be in repair as per your verbal: conversation for. a per9od of one year.. The repairs to be made of Tarvia Macadam. For any reason that you can not accept this proposition at once please notify us at once. BY ORDER OF THE BOARD.
