The plat of Marquette Park Sub -Division of South Bend, Indiana was presented to the Board by Harry A. Wood and the same Was approved as follows:-- MARQUETTE PARK SUb D IV IS ON SOUTH BEND, IND IANA. The attached plea represents Uarquette Perk Sub--Div1son in the City of South Bend, leadAnty of St. Joseph, State of Indian&, and described as follows, to- w it : - The north East Quarter of the South East Quarter of S-eetion 34,Township 38, North of Range 2 East; Also five acres lying in said Sections 34 and 35 , Township 38 North, Range 2 East, bounded as follows; Beginning as the South-west corner of the North West Quarter of said Section 35; thence running East 4 chains and 17 links to the center of the Niles redrd; thence North 23 degrees and 45 minutes West with said roam 2 chains and 29 links; thence west 23 cha:irfs and. 31 links; thence south 2 `chains and 11 links; thence East to the place of beginning: Alao all that part of the North West Quarter of the South West Quarter of Section 35, township 38 North, Range 2 East, lying Southwesterly of the Portage Avenue road., leading from South Bend to Niles. Marquette Park Sub-D iv is ion c onta ins 206 lots r_numbered as shown on the plea of which this is made a part, the width and depth of said lots, as well as the width of all streets are marked on the plat in feet.
