Concerning the improvement of the roadway of Broadway from Franklin .Street to Lafayette Street and on Broadway from Carroll Street to High Street, in pursuance to resolution No. 491, the petition of freeholders res id ing on said street I,- is considered ( amd the report of the City Engineer is received and all evidence is heard) and the Board finds that said petitioners c onst itut-e a majority in number of the freeholders res id ing upon the street to be improved, that said petition is sluff is lent ,and it is therefore considered, and adjudged that said improvement be made .0 ith Mexican As Aha It is concrete the kind of !pavement requested in said pet it ion; and the City Engineer reports that Western Construction Company is the lowest and best bidder for said kind of pavement, and th- Board so finds, and lets the contract for said improvement to him, and orders said improvement to be made with M-xican Asphaltic concrete, and all proceedings heretofore had in this matter are hereby conf irm-d sand rat if ied.
