4�b <br />Concerning the improvement of the roadway of Fuerbringer Street from <br />Cottage Grove Avenue to Sherman Avenue with as#halt, ashaltic concrete, bitulithie, or <br />brick, in pursuance to resolution No.-.487 this being, the -day set for the preliminary <br />award des ignat ing the kind of pavement, the Board at 10: OO A.M. this 17th. day of <br />April pub l ie ly opened, read and considered all bide. <br />And thereupon the Board designed Asphaltic concrete as the kind of pavement <br />with which said street is to be improved and fixes the 28th. day of April 1917-at <br />iftdO6rA.M, as the -time *hwa-petitions for changing the kind of pavement must be filed, <br />and the Board hereby continues this matter until the 1st, day of May 1917 at 10: 00 .A . M. <br />and all bids are hereby referred to the City Civil Engineer for -tabulation and report as <br />to the lowest and beat bid.. Louis Meyers appeared before the Board and presented contract <br />for the Chicago, Lake Shore & South Bend Railway Company to construct. tracks across Birdsall <br />Street and across `certain.° alloy in the City, and the same was approved by the Board as <br />follows, and referred to the Common Council for ratification: <br />
