��3 Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. Mr. A. H. Rice absent. Mrs. Jacob Kuntz appeared before the Board and presented remonstrance from manufaQturers and freeholders remonstrating against asphalt plant now located on West Calvert Street between Lafayette Street and Franklin Streets on the right of gray of the P.C.C. and St. L. R.R. also against asphalt plant on the Var_dalia Ry. right of way. The Board referred these two remonstrances ;to the Building Commissioner for in- vestigation. Bids :were received opened and read as follows: for grade, curb, walk ✓ and gravel paveirent on Dubail Avenue from Leer Street to Marine Street. H. N. Barnes, walk $.09 per ,4q. ft. Curb, per lin. ft. $.20 grading per cu. yd. $.45 31nch gravel roadway per sq. yd...$.18 C. L. Headley, walk er sq. ft.$.10 curb per lin ft.$.24 grading per cu. yd. The Board ordered the Build ins Commissioner to have flagstaff on ✓ City Hall repaired, also new tile placed on roof where old the have fell off. the Following communication received from the Weisbach Street Lighting. Gentlemen: - It has come to our attention that you are somewhat in doubt as to whether or not we would install any new gas lamps in the River Park District under our present contract. Permission granted the Indiana & kichigan Electric Company to close east half of Bridge Street from La Salle Avenue south one half block for a period of Sixty (Tay_)s (60) from date as oer request of Chas. B. Calvert Secretary of said company.
