In J d r it .1g17. Board met in regular session at 7:45 P.U-. Mr. J. B. Weber, absent. Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 494 for the pavement of the alley west of Lafayette Street from Monroe Street to South Street, in the City of • South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing a, remonstrator appeared but no written remonstrance was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the bene fits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal -to the esti- mated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Resolved further, that notices be publ ishdd on. the 6th. day of April 1917 and on the 13th� day of Apti1,1917 in a newspaper of general circulation in said Cityip stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. on the 24th. day of April 1917. The Board reserves the right to reject.any and all bids Hearing had. on Improvement Resolution No. 492. for the pavement on 1st. alley west of Michigan Street from Madison Street to Marion, Street, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. In the -above matter remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance was filed. The Board having said matter under advisement find that the remonstrance filed this 3rd. day of April 1917 should be sustained and the resolution should be and 'the same is hereby and in all things rescinded. Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 495. for pavement on JHarrison Avenue from ]Lincoln way Pest to Fuerbinger Street, in. the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remon- strance was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost .of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and there- -upon takes final action on said resolution as.originally adopted, and the same is Hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Resolved further, *that notices be published on the 6th. day of April 1917 and April 13th. ,1917 in a newspaper of general circulation in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement -up to 10:00 A.M. on thi 24th. day of April 1917. Hearing had on improvement resolution No. 493 for pavement on J the first alley south of Jefferson Boulevard from Laurel Street to Chapel Lane, in the Cityof South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance was filed. The Board having said matter under advisement find that the remon- strance filed March 17th.,1917 should be sustained and the resolution should be and the same is hereby acid in all things rescinded. . Deferred hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 433 for pavement f on Hoose Court from Chapin Street to Scott Street, in the City of South Bend, IndiarA Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no further remon- strance filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises decides that the _ benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and there- upon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, ,and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Resolved further, that notices be published on the 6th. day of April 1917 and on the 13th. day of April 1917 in a newspaper of general circulation in said City, stating thstthis Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to 10:00 A.L. on the 24th. day of April 1917.
