Hear ing .given on Vaca,t ion Resolut ion No. 33 for the, Vacation of <br />Four a'lley's in Elliott Tutt's Addition to the City of South -Bend between Tutt Street <br />and Dunham Street also Dunh?.m.Street from. -Lot 8 to Lot lS in Elliott Tutt's Add:; <br />In. the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Tr the above matter no remenstrators Rnp-tired and 'to wr, it ten remora- : <br />strence was fi!..-d The Beard therefore .sustain all former action taken and declare <br />the above described property in all things vacated dnd this resolution in all things <br />rat if ied,. :onf irmed and approved, <br />Resolved further that the City Engineer be instructed to prepares <br />a roll'shoving awards of 'damages and assessments of benefits to all' parties and pro-- <br />pert-ies interested in th- above matt-r. <br />Hearing given on Vacation Resolution No. 34 for the Vac at ion of <br />Scott -Street from alley north of Leon Court to poi#t 30 feet north of S.S.B& S. Ry. <br />Co.and Leon Court from Scott 'Street to alley west of Scott Street and alley north of <br />Leon Court from Sett Street to alley west of Scott Street, Ix the City of Southo0 <br />of South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter remonstrators appeared but no written remok- <br />strance was filed, the Board therefore sustain all former action taken and declare the <br />above described_property,in all things .vacated and this resolution in all ;things rati4- <br />f ied, confirmed and approved. <br />Resolved further that the City Engineer be instructed to prepare a <br />roll showing awards of damages and assessments of benefits to all parties and pro- <br />perties interested in the above matter. <br />.Deferred hearing had on gravel pavement, curb and walk on Dubail <br />Avenues from Leer Street to liar ine Street, under ` Improvement Resolution Ni. 467. In the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrance <br />was. f iled and the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits <br />to property liable to be 'assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated Most <br />of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes f hRal ;act ion <br />on said resolution as or ig inaly adopted, and the same is hereby in all things, ratified, <br />c onf irmed and approved. <br />Resolved further, that notices be published on the 21st. day of <br />March 1917 and on the 28th. day of March 1917 in a newspaper of general circulation <br />in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said <br />improvements tip to 10:00 A.Y. on the loth. day of April 1917. The Board reserves the <br />right to reject any and all bids. <br />Hearing given on roll showing awards of damages and assessments of <br />vbenef its ( same equal) in the matter of Vacation Resolution No. 32 for the Vacation of <br />alley north of Madison Street from Lafayette Street to first alley west of Lafayette <br />Street, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />No remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed. The <br />Board therefore declare the above roll filed February 6th.,1917 in all things <br />ratified, c onf irmed and approved and the proceedings closed; <br />Tabulation of bids received at 10:00 A.M. 'this 13th. day of March 1917 <br />filed by the Building Commissioner. The Board ordered that the same be held up for <br />dese is iex until Tuesday Larch 20th. ,1917 at 10:00 A. M. <br />Dr, E. J. Lent President of the Park Board appeared before the <br />Board &Ad requested that Boulevard lights be placed on Carty Blvd, in this City. <br />She Board took this matter under advisement kndtto take the same up with the Finance <br />Department, <br />Attorney Vitus Jones, representing the Harter Realty Company <br />appeared before the Board and presented a petition in regard to the intersections at <br />V Harter Heights.
