APPENDIX 2 <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Proiect Undet,wtandiLi <br />This project is for professional engineering services to update the City of South Bend's <br />Construction Standards and Specifications, Dated June 26, 2018. The update is to include revisions <br />that have been identified since the document became effective on June 26, 2018, incorporate <br />stormwater design criteria into the document, and develop two new sections of the standards and <br />specifications to cover Landscaping (Section 8) and items that fall within the Finishes and Fixtures <br />(Section 9) categories. The final deliverable will include an updated searchable pdf of all sections <br />of the specifications and standards including new material along with the Microsoft Word file of the <br />specifications and the AutoCAD files generated of the construction standards. <br />PART I. SCOPE OF SER VICES: <br />A. Completion of "dine 26 2018 Revision of the Ci ^'s Construction Standards and <br />Specifications <br />1. LFA previously performed professional services necessary to complete and submit <br />finalized documents for the Construction Standards and Specifications approved by <br />the Board of Public Works on June 26, 2018. The services have been completed and <br />exceeded the hourly not -to -exceed compensation amount. Services will be paid <br />under the lump sum amount of this agreement. <br />B. Update the Jime 26, 2018 Standards and S lecifictttions to Include Stormwater <br />Design Criteria and Recognized Revisions to the Current Document <br />1. The City has developed criteria to be utilized for managing stormwater quantity for <br />future projects and/or developments. The criteria will be incorporated into the <br />existing Standards and Specifications and will be provided to LFA by the City. LFA <br />will meet with the City to discuss the Stormwater Design Criteria and its <br />incorporation into the Standards and Specifications. <br />2. There have been some revisions to the existing Standards and Specifications that <br />have been identified by the City Staff and other entities. LFA will incorporate the <br />revisions into the existing Standards and Specifications. The revisions will be <br />provided to LFA by the City. LFA will meet with the City to discuss the revisions. It <br />is assumed for this proposal that the meeting will be held concurrently with the <br />meeting identified in Task B.1. <br />3. LFA will provide the City, for review and comment, the revised portions of the <br />Standards and Specifications necessary to incorporate the items noted in Tasks B.1 <br />and B.2 above. <br />4.
