AGENDA REVIEW SESSION DECEMBE R 6, 2 0 1 8 378 Ms. Becca Plantz, Engineering, stated this permit is for access to city property for soil borings for a proposed electric transmission line route. Mr. Gilot asked if they are choosing a path without trees. Ms. Plantz confirmed there are no trees in the location, just green space, Attorney McDaniels asked if I & M provided the permit. Ms. Plantz stated they did. Attorney McDaniels stated it would need to be reviewed by legal. - Opening of Quotations — South Bend Civic Theater Alleyway Repaving Ms. Maradik questioned if this includes bollards and if so, who is installing and removing thern. She noted the City doesn't usually al)prove bollards and only the city can close public right-of- way. Ms. Brach confirmed they are part of this repaving but she was not aware of who was responsible for closure. The Board noted they have denied them previously with the exception of Eddy Commons where there is an agreement with the management on closure and at the Morris Performing Arts, a city -owned entity. It was noted the Morris is still required to get Board approval to close the street. - Change Order — J.C. Lauber Site Improvements Mr. Kyle Silveus, Engineering, stated Change Order No. I is due to the decision to use concrete instead of asphalt. Ile noted they received a good price for better material. He stated Change Order No. 2 is for the addition of drywells to help with water drainage in problem areas. - Change Order — Lincoln Way East Corridor Improvements Mr. Silveus stated this Change Order is due to the discovery of guardrails puncturing a storm line along Lincoln Way. Mr. Gilot asked how deep the storm sewer was. Mr. Silveus stated it was not very deep, just a couple of feet. - Change Order - Erskine Clubhouse Renovation Mr. Silveus stated this increase was due to unforeseen conditions. He explained they had to do repairs and replace the gutter on the south side when they removed it and found damage underneath. No other business came before the Board. Gilot, with Board Members Elizabeth Maradik, and Therese Dorau present. Board Members Suzarma Fritzberg, and James Mueller were absent. Also present was Board Attorney Clara McDaniels.
