Staff <br /> requests to set the public hearing for 9:30 <br /> a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2012. <br /> Mr. Alford made a motion to accept for filing THE MOTION TO APPROVE RESOLUTION <br /> Resolution No. 3036 and set the public No. 3036 DID NOT RECEIVE SUFFICIENT VOTES <br /> hearing on Resolution No. 3036 for 9:30 TO PASS <br /> a.m., June 28, 2012. Mr. Varner seconded <br /> the motion. The motion failed to get three <br /> favorable votes. Mr. Davis was opposed. <br /> (3) Proposal for professional services for site <br /> improvements at ACSNA (Western Ave. <br /> Veterans Administration Clinic). <br /> Mr. Schalliol noted that DJ Construction is <br /> the contractor ACS used for its work on the <br /> VA Clinic. They have submitted a proposal <br /> for construction work the Commission is <br /> responsible for in the building's interior and <br /> exterior of the project. The scope of services <br /> in this agreement consist of environmental <br /> remediation, exterior and interior building <br /> improvements and improvements that relate <br /> and coordinate with the improvements made <br /> to the structure by ACS, the building tenant. <br /> As part of the reuse plan for the building, all <br /> environmental remediation of the building <br /> was done at the beginning of the project to <br /> eliminate future conflicts when removing <br /> asbestos materials. Although only a portion <br /> of the building is in use by the clinic, the <br /> 6 <br />
