ALTERNATE #3 — DEMOLISH LOWER THREE BAYS OF EXISTING RAMP (continued) <br />• Saw cut, jackhammer and remove the lower three bays of the concrete ramp, <br />approximately 22' x 62' in area. The first section is slab on grade and the next two <br />are cast in place concrete. <br />• Demolish and fill in the existing recessed floor area below the second and third bays <br />of the ramp, approximately 22'x 25' in area. <br />• Grade and prep first floor level and pour approximately 1,050 sq. ft. of new 4" <br />concrete slab on grade to match existing floor elevation. <br />• Provide and install approximately. 630 sq. ft. of 10 gauge 14" steel CEE joists at 24" <br />o.c. to span the 21' gap between column lines. Install web stiffeners and bridging as <br />required. These joist have been sized to carry a future 3" concrete slab plus an <br />additional live floor loading of 100 psf. <br />• Provide and install 6" steel stud wall approximately 21' x 6' tall at bottom of <br />remaining section of ramp, extending up to CEE joist. <br />• Provide and install 6" steel stud wall approximately 21' x 2' tall at bottom of raised <br />section of second floor, extending from the CEE joist up to existing concrete. <br />• Provide and install 1.5" B steel deck on top of CEE joists. <br />• Provide and install 1.5" B steel deck as wall panels on south side of stud wall. <br />• Provide and install 9" of fiberglass insulation (R -27) in between CEE joists. <br />• Provide and install 6" of fiberglass insulation (R -19) in between studs. <br />• Provide and install 5/8" drywall on bottom face of CEE joist. <br />• Provide and install 5/8" drywall on sides of stud walls exposed to the second floor. <br />(Alternate #3 Total Cost Add: $29,150.00 is to be Split 50/50 with ACS) <br />Alternate #3, Split 50/50 with ACS Add: $14,575.00 <br />ALTERNATE #3X — NOT USED (DEMOLISH ADDITIONAL 16'X20' SECTION OF EXISTING RAMP) <br />NOTE: This additional work would ONLY be required to accommodate a future elevator <br />to the second floor at the new Vestibule. This would be for the City's future benefit. <br />This price was $6,500, but item was deferred and can be done in the future if needed. <br />ALTERNATE #4 — CLEANUP SECOND FLOOR OF EXISTING ORIGINAL BUILDING <br />NOTE: Part of this work has already been done. Cleanup and remove from the site all <br />the miscellaneous debris and items that are not attached to the building. This will result <br />in a nicer appearance throughout. Floors will be broom swept. Conclusion of this work <br />will be finished after second floor asbestos abatement is finished (if performed). <br />Alternate #4 Add: $2,000.00 <br />DJ Construction Co., Inc.
