4. Project limits shall be defined as the property boundary for each lot and the area between <br />the property frontage and curb, which includes any sidewalk and/or tree lawn in that area. <br />5. Contract award(s), if any, will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder in <br />each Division. <br />XXI. DIVISION OF BID <br />A. Prevailing Specifications: None <br />B. Additions: <br />1. The Work of this project is offered in three (3) Divisions: Division A, Division B, and Division <br />C. <br />a. Division A: 7 Houses, A-01 — A-07 <br />b. Division B: 9 Houses, B-01 — B-09 <br />c. Division C: 7 Houses, C-01 — C-07 <br />2. Bidders may bid on any or all of the Divisions. <br />3. Bidder must present a unit price for each and every item inieach Division where a bid is <br />made and unit pricing for Asbestos Abatement. On page 2 of the Contractor's Bid for Public <br />Work forms present the total base bid for all Divisions being bid. <br />XXII. SAFETY AND SITE SECURITY <br />A. Prevailing Specifications: None <br />B. Additions: <br />1. The Contractor(s) and all Sub -Contractors and their personnel onsite shall maintain safe <br />working conditions according to OSHA Regulations and safety plan and policies. <br />2. The Contractor shall describe the safety plan actions to the Engineer for each site. The <br />safety plan shall include a Maintenance of Traffic Plan which describes the method of <br />protecting the vehicles and pedestrians in the public right-of-way. <br />3. Use of "snow fencing," prefabricated chain link panels, or other temporary barriers effective <br />in keeping the public and passers-by from contacting hazards shall be allowed. <br />4. Contractor shall put the barriers in place when leaving each work site if debris piles and/or <br />open excavations or other hazards exist on the site. <br />5. Existing fences in good condition may be used as part of the security barrier. <br />6. Except for existing fences marked for preservation, all fencing shall be removed upon <br />completion of demolition and backfill activity. <br />7. There will be no direct payment for safety and site security. This item will not be measured <br />directly, but shall be included in the Lump Sum Unit Price established in the Pay Items for <br />Demolition.
