Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. All members present. Judge L. M. Hammerschmidt appeared before the Board in regard to a- Filing cabinet and roll top desk .for the office of the Probation Officer in the City Court.. It was agr eedL on by the ,Board to have Mr. E. Bids were received for forms for cash books for the Building Department as follows: Bid of Herr anal Herr, 1 special blank book, ruled and printed as your copy, 150 folio pages, �k bound, cubs, flat opening, skeet size 14 X 14 hteke's, and using white Sterling Ledger stock, Book to be letered sit front cover, building Department, South Bend,.at $25,00 p lac ed.. Same as above only to nave 250 folio pages at `27.50 It will, require ':about ten or twelve days to make after the order is Bid of R. W. Gafill, Bindery. Price of 1 book 250 Folio pages $22.25 Price for 1 book 150 Fol is Pages 20. 75 4 bouad..pst. flat ;oponer. Bid of the Typewriter shop, 4 bound, with hubs, record book, on 40 lb. Sterling Ledger paper. 250 Folio pages -00 150 Folio pages 23,00 Sheet size 14" X 14 " as per stetekr finished. The Board awarded tke same to R. W. Gafill at the above prices. Tie following bids were received on a book for the engineer's office. One book 500 pages aspen sample in office at $20.509 bid of: ✓ The R. W . Gaf ill bindery. One 500 page. improvement record and index. No. 1 ledger for leather binding at ...... $21.00 The Board awarded contract for said book to the R. W. Gafill bindery at the above figures. Mr. Roberts of the Indiana& Michigan Elea. Company appeared before the Board in regard to -cluster lights in front of office buildings. No action taken by the Board. In the City, of South Bend, Ind isma ., Resolved, that notices as to the assessments as required by statute be published on the 8th. day of February 1917 and 15th. day of February 1917 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 27th. day of February 1917 at 7:45 P.9. Resolved further, that the entire 'cork under the above contracts be accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed..
