`L7i C ONDEMNAT ION RES OLUT ION NO. 45. 1915. Resolved by the Board -of Public Works Of the City of South Bend, Indiana, That the following described property be appropriated fore the use 'of said City: Beginning at the intersection of the north line of Pokagon Street as platted in Hillcrest Addition to South Bend, Indiana, and the. Westerly line of the Michigan Air Line Railroad Co's right of way;. thence easterly to a point on the easterly line of the night of way of the Southern Michigan Railway Co. 284 feet south of the north' l-ine .of Section 1 Tp, i N R 2 E. thence southerly along the easterly line df *,;he righti�6the Southern ehigan Railway Co. 62 feet; thence westerly to a point .tn the westerly line of the right of way of the Michigan Air Line Railroad Co,. in line with the south line o 'f Pokagon ' Street as platted in said Hillcrest Addition; thence northerly on the westerly line of the Michigan Air Line Railroad Co. right of way to the place of beginning. The follwAing described property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such, appropr iat ion. - Beginning at the ndgth .west, corner oftot 372 in Hillcrest Add it ion to South Bend, Indiana; thence east on the north line of said lot 372 to the easterly line of the Ist alley east of Tecumseh Avenue; thence northerly on the easterly line of said alley to the north west corner of k6t 36B Hillcrest Add it ion: thence east on the north line of lots 368 and 361 in said Add it ion and said north line produced east to the west line of Leeper Avenue; thence south on the west line of Leeper Avenue to the lst. alley south of Pokagon Street as platted in Leeper's 1st. ..:addition;, thence west along said alley and said alley produced west to the south east corner of lot 351 in Hillcrest Addition; thence southwesterly along the southerly line of said lot 351 to the easterly line of Tecumseh Avenue; thence northerly along the easterly lime of Tecumseh Avenue to the places of beginning. The object of such appropriation it the appropriation for the opening of Pokagon Street across the Michigan Air Line Rd. and Southern Michigan Railway Company s right of way. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 13th. day of October 1916 and on the 20th. day of October 1916 in the South Bend Daily Tribune. This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 7th. day of November 1916 at 7:45 P.M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by these proceedings.
