Dear Sire:- - Your attention is respectfully directed to the consideration of the Chapin Street sewer which is apparently inadequate for the service required of it. In event of a rain of just more than ordinary volume, our plant is flooded water backs up into our office basement, gushing out of the bas ira. Yesterday, of course c and it ions were terrible but we realize that the down -pour of rain was excessive Our c one lus ion regarding the sewer is not based on yesterdays experience but rather on freaquent oecurances in the past.
