In the City of South Bend, Indiana. Resolved , that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published f or s ix j c ons ec ut ive days in the S outh Bend Da ily Tr ibune , c ommene ing August 14th. ,1916. stating that this Board will give a .hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 29th. day of August 1916 at %: 45 P.M. Res 91ved further, that the entire work under the above contract be acceed and approved and the final estimate thereon Allowed. Contract for cleaning and deepening of McCartney Creek from La Salle Lake to Vassar Avenue, the same was awarded to H . J. Slot. The Board ordered that Frank P. Nicely be botified to construct cement t---sidewalk in front of his property on E. Madison Street in front of Paper Mills on south side from the Race Bridge to Emerick Street, and the Clerk was instructed to send a thirty day notice on the same.
