At the intersection of Lafayette Street and the tracks of said <br />Railroad, the surface of said street shall be depressed two and one tenth (2.1) f6et <br />below the top of the highest rail of the tracks at said intersection as now maintaind <br />clearance shall be.twelve -,nd one half(l*) feet between the surface of the streets s <br />as fixed above and the superstructure work over said street; the grade of the approach <br />of said street north from the north line of the superstructure shall be a straight <br />line until it interoects the present grade at the south line of South Street, and the <br />grade of the approach s outh fr om the s outh line of the superstructure shall be .a <br />straight line until it intersects the present grade at Bronson Street. <br />5. At the intersection of Prairie Avenue and the tracks of said <br />Railroad the surface of said street shall be depressed two and one half(2-2) feet <br />below the top of the highest rail of the tracks at said intersection as now maintained; <br />clearance shall be twelve and one-half (122) feet between the surface of the street as <br />f axed above and the superstructure work over said street; the grade of the approach <br />of said street on the north shall be a straight line from the north line of the. super-- <br />strucutre until it intersects the present grade at the north line of South Street; and <br />the grade of the approach on the.,south shall be an ascending grade of six -tenths (.6) <br />of a f oot for each 100 feet from the south line of the superstructure until it inter- <br />sects the present grade on Prairie Avenue. <br />6. At the intersection of Scott Street and the tracks of said Railroad <br />the surface of said street shall be depressed two and twenty 41hree one hundredths <br />(2.23) feet below the top of the highest rail of the tracks at said intersection as <br />now maintained; clearance shall be twelve and one-half (12-1) feet between the surface of <br />the street as fixed above and the superstructztire work over said street; the grade of <br />the approach of said street on the north shall be level from the north line of the super- <br />structure until it intersects the present grade on Scott S Street, and the grade of the <br />approach on the south from the south line of the superstrucuture shall be a level grade <br />until it intersectd the present grade on Scott Street., <br />%, At the intersection of Chapin Street and the tracks of said railroad <br />the surface of said street shall be depressed six (6) feet below the top of the highest <br />rail of the tracks at said intersection as now maintained; c learar�- shall be ixteen f <br />(16) feet between the surface of the street as fixed above); and the superstructure work <br />over said street; the grade of the approach of said street on the"north shall be an <br />ascending grade `of two and one half (2-2) feet to each one hundred (100) feet from the <br />north line of the superstruettt�.re until it interests the present grade, and on the south <br />the grade shall be an ascending grade -f .,— ! one half (21-) feet to each one hundred <br />(100) feet from the south line of the superstructure until ii intersects the present <br />grade. <br />S. The grade of Dunn Street, which intersects Chapin Street at a point <br />immediately north of the tracks of said railroad, shall be changed, and the grade from <br />the east line of Chapin Street shall be an ascending grade of three (3) feet to each <br />one hundred (100) feet until it intersects the present grade of Dunn Street. <br />That said improvement, shall be made and paid for according tothe <br />method and manner provided for in an Act of the General Assembly of Indiana of 1911,Page <br />314. <br />That said improvement will affect the tracks of other companies, whose <br />tracks intersect or connect with the tracks of the New York Central Railroad Company at <br />points where the tracks of the last named c or:!oany will be changed or elevated, and that <br />said other companies are named as follows; - <br />Grand Trunk Western Railway Company <br />Vandalia Railroad Company, <br />Indiana Northern Railway Company, <br />Oliver Chilled Plow Company, <br />Studebbker Corporation. <br />And it is further resolved and ordered that the 15th. day of August, <br />1916, at Nine (9) o'clock A.M. be fixed as the time when said Railroad Companies or other <br />Companies, or any of them may appear and file a remonstrance as to said proposed changes <br />of jrades , or amounts of clearance , at which time this Board will have a hearing upon <br />this Resolution and will approve change or modify hhe same. <br />And it is further ordered that a copy of this resolution shall be served <br />at least ten days before the time of said hearing, upon some resident officer or agent <br />of this f ollo*ing named companies:- <br />
