St. Commissioner to made a report as to the condition of the above ' mentioned alley Hearing .given on Vacation Resolution No. 29, for the purpose of vacating alley north of Dayton Street from Dale Avenue to 1st. alley east, in the City of ✓ South Bend, Ind is na , In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances vfere filed, the Board therefore sustain all former action taken and declare the above described property in all things vacated and this resolution in ell things ratified, confirmed P.nd approved. The same referred to the City Cvil Enginer for resolution to be prepared. Mr. Warner rep resenting the St. Joseph Heating Company appeared before the Board in regard to running mains for heating system on Michigan Street to Wayne ✓ Street. Board instructed him to secure signers in block between Payne and Div is ion Street. Resolved by the Board that the Building ComniissionE r be allowed for transportation $150.00 per year for up keep of automobile etc., v Also that the City Cemetery Sexton be allowed Ten ($*10.00)Dollars per year for up-- =;s keep of bycycle. In regard to complaint about telephone pole in alley on east side of Hill Street at lst. alley north of La Sa; le Avenue, the pole and wire inspector reports as follows. This pole is on the southeast corner of first alley north of La Salle Avenue on Hill Street , It is Home Tel. Company pole and stands outside S of the curb. There is a Central Union Tel. Co. pole o : the same corner but stands inside the curb. The Home Tel. Co. should fasten their -cable to the C. U. Tel. Co. pole and remove the Home Tel. Company pole.
