Company pole on property line at 2012 Linden Avenue, the Pole aa. Wire inspector reports as follow' This is a Home Tel. Company pole and stands on tre property line and s1liould be trenched out about a foot s0 the owner can build a fence. The Board approved of the Pole and Wire Inspector's report. In regard to complaint filed by Councilman Goebel of brick walk at 1013 and 1015 Fisher Street, the Street Commissioner reports as follows : The brick walk is 2 inches lower grade than the adjoining cement walk, but is smooth. The Board placed thison file. The engineer filed the estimated cost of pavement improvement on t -ie alley North of Ls. Salle Avenue from Michigan Street to Main Street and the alley west of Michigan Street from La Salle Avenue to Madison Street at.....$2,302.00 The Engineer filed ,the estimated. cost of the pipe sewer improver.;ent in Bowman Street from Miami Street to High. Street at ....... $2.100. 00 The following report was received from the City Engineer and placed on file. T o the Honorable Board of Public Works, South.Bend, Ind. Dear Sirs: - In regard to t-le a-ttacked petition for a pavement on Francis Street, I recommend that .it be placed on file to be considered next year. I wish to reemmend that the street be paved, but would 'suggest that the improvement stop at Cedar Street as there is no sewer north of t;7is paint. - Yours very truly, FR1'DERICK J.
