N REPORT OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. Of the City of South Bend, Indiana.. Sewer9 dater and Gas Connections on MichigAn Street from North line of La Salle Avenue and to South line of South Street. To the Honorable Council. Gentlemen:— The Board of Public Works herewith presents its report for the following sewer, gas and water connections* BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. EAR. MORRIS President. RESOLUTION 0TTE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS #430. On motion duly made and seconded the f of In,"Ting preamble and resolutions were sly adopte*' WHEREAS, This Board did on the 26t i. day of January 1916 deem it expedient and of public utility to premanently improve Michigan Street, between North line of La Salle Avenue and South line of South Street, by paving the roadway of the sane, and did on said date pass and adapt 'a resolution authorizing said permanent improvement end, Whereas, The City Engineer hr s prepared and filed with this Board a report snowing the number and location, as well as the material to be used and the manner of a laying the same, of the service pipes, mains, =onduits, laterals and connections which are, or will bt necessary to accommodate the aFutting property owners with gars, water, heat steam or any other product for whih any person, firm or corporation has been granted a supplying the citizens of the City of South Bend, Indiana, which report is as ari .f fe in tine office of the Board. BE IT RE"OLVED, That said report of said City Engineer be and is Hereby adopted And be it further Resblved, That it is contemplated by this Board to improve Michigan Street from N rth lineof La. Salle Avenue to tine south line of South Street all in said City of South Bend by construction of pavement , and that it is hereby so declared necessary ror the Northern Indiana Gas & Electric Compa ny, which has, and operates under a franchise from said City to supply gas to the citizens of said City, to provide and install mains, laterals service pipes and connections for gas in said part of said street, of the description l�cation and numb r set forth in ai re ort of said Cit Ci e i teeusg ofisaiSeme Ap ervice pipes and connections are hereby dec are necessaryfor he in supplying gas to the owners of property a.btitting upon said part of said street.
